5d Missing Phosphor

A while ago I mentioned that I took receipt of several pre decimal Machin booklets and a couple of them had a hidden surprise. One such booklet was The 10/- Shackelton booklet XP10 from the Explorers series, which had a pane of 5d Machin stamps OCP/ PVA with the phosphor omitted.

Three of the stamps were trimmed along the perforations on the top row and the three along the bottom row had perfect  perforations. As this was the case I decided to split the pane and sell off  the perfect duplicates. One has been sold.

Of the other two one of which is listed on eBay at the moment, I have put it up starting at 1.95 as it is a difficult stamp to obtain as a perfect example, which is nicely centred and has the added bonus of  perfect perforations.

You are welcome to bid on this eBay item, or alternatively be the first to email me direct at for a chance to buy the second remaining copy at the buy it now price of 1.95 + postage.

This will be 58p UK, 75p Europe or 1.00p rest of the world.

If you visit my eBay site please check out my other lots as there are also a few Christmas bargains listed.

As for the three stamps with trimmed perfs at the top (still collectible) these will go to the second person, third and fourth person to email me at reduced buy it now  price of just 75p each. Postage will be the same as above. You may request more than one copy of the trimmed variety if you wish, postage will be combined.

If you are unfortunate and do not wish to receive a trimmed copy please state this in your email.

I will send pay pal payment details to you and what order your email is in which will determine what stamp(s) you will receive as soon as I know your whereabouts in the world.

I know this is a bit of a lottery but here goes, I hope you have good luck, Have a wonderful Christmas Holiday and peaceful new year..
