As a latecomer to collecting modern GB, I would comment: the SG Strand Shop in London gives one the impression of a 'well oiled machine' yet, I've disappointingly read above, their latest GB Catalogues have errors and are disorganised! I've purchased the excellent Deegam CD, with three collecting 'Levels, which has to be the ultimate guide. I've now joined the MBPC, hoping the combination of all three will be sufficient for my needs. What say you?Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00532830515067051672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3322543472485475876.post-18529460591060432542011-09-01T08:53:04.456-12:002011-09-01T08:53:04.456-12:00SG Code for this Prestige Book is DY1 inline with ...SG Code for this Prestige Book is DY1 inline with the Concise Stamp Catalogue numbering.marcoonihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11464073579217192381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3322543472485475876.post-15427458598170320312011-03-21T23:00:41.421-12:002011-03-21T23:00:41.421-12:00I'll tweet SG and ask!I'll tweet SG and ask!Ian - Norvichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16436130277706268046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3322543472485475876.post-4180029631687988382011-03-20T20:10:05.366-12:002011-03-20T20:10:05.366-12:00Exactly what I've been wondering. That's why Smiler sheets are not included as far as I know.Point will be of course whether the stamps will be different enough to warrant inclusion anyway. Not sure how SG works with regard to their specialised catalogues. Are for example Smilers included in their GB part 4 or 5?Adrianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16745769665637978663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3322543472485475876.post-73707433999517005792011-03-20T03:48:35.526-12:002011-03-20T03:48:35.526-12:00If this prestige book does contain any new Machins...If this prestige book does contain any new Machins, will they be listed by catalogues such as Gibbons? They will not have been made available to the public at face value. Is that a pre-requisite for catalogue status?Ian Rosenoreply@blogger.com
