I spotted this on a well known auction site, priced at £14.95 + 95p postage. I could not help but chuckle to myself.
What is wrong with it?
A 10p mis-cut booklet FA3/M perf E, imprint 2 setting 2 will be sent free to the person with the wittiest comment.
The Description states
SG X841 ½p Coil Miscut SUPERB ERROR/VARIETY - Unmounted Mint
ReplyDeleteDescription - The opposite to right is left or perhaps wrong.
Well, we all know how it was caused, don't we?
ReplyDeleteAnd it wasn't at the print-works.
Yes we do know what caused it. It's a pity that the coil strip was not complete as there would have been a similar looking stamp on the other end.
ReplyDeleteOuch! By dose! The vending machine bit me!
ReplyDeleteExcellent idea! I got my crimpers out and I now have twice as many stamps in my collection.
ReplyDeleteCut backs take their effect...!
ReplyDeleteBut the Queen doesn't need to slim down...!!!
ReplyDeleteNo! I said "a 1/2p stamp" not 1/2 a stamp!!!
ReplyDeleteCharles's slim-down Royal Family takes effect early!!!
ReplyDeleteA perf-ect example of mistaken identity.....J.B
ReplyDeleteA cut above the rest...!!!
