If You Have £46 to Spare
In Royal Mail’s promotional brochure first that features the new Diamond Jubilee Machins, the business sheet containing 100 stamps is included. The text about this “lovely sheet of 100 First Class stamps” includes the advice, “this is also an essential collector’s item and a fine commemorative piece in its own right.”
Just so you know.

(Oh, and buy it soon. Who knows how much this sheet will cost after the coming rate increase.)

Or if you find yourself short due to all the other products on sale.
Why not just take no notice of Royal Mails investment spiel (we have heard it all before) get the top of the sheet from a dealer, or better still a single?
I was trying to say the same thing as Roy, only being sarcastic because Royal Mail's promotion is so outrageous.

I am writing to ask a naive question. Can you help me with identifying lithograph vs. what Scott calls "photogravure" style printing? I apologize if this is an inappropriate question for your blog.
Hi Rick,
We dealt with this question before. Check here.

There's more on gravure vs litho on Robin Harris' great site at
