A Stroll Down Machin Avenue

One of my ever-alert daughters took this picture recently. It's in the city of Novato, about 30 miles north of San Francisco, California.

No doubt it was named after a local Machin, but maybe we can have a Machin Maniacs meeting there someday.

And if you'd like to live on Machin Avenue, you're in luck. The fine home pictured here is for sale. It is a spacious 972 square feet and provides a lot of opportunity for you to fix it up to your taste. It sold for $850,000 in 2005, and it was foreclosed just two years ago. It is on the market now for the bargain price of $400,000. And I bet you could get it for less.

Imagine, collecting Machins while living on Machin Avenue....
