Beheaded

A letter to the editor in the November 30 issue of Linn's Stamp News called attention to this cinderella. It was done by artist Darren Cullen and was available at the Dismaland Bemusement Park. Dismaland was a temporary art project organized by the anonymous artist Banksy in the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare from August 21 to September 27, 2015. It was described as a "sinister twist on Disneyland."

Cullen calls this "Beheaded." The version above is a full-size print. The stamp-size version, shown below, is a little more, well, colorful.

I don't know anything more about it, but anyone who knows about this is welcome to elaborate in the comments.

Cullen is probably not aware of it, but one of the criticisms of the Edward VIII postage stamp design was that it looked like he had been beheaded.
