Are you looking for some Easter goodies that are Machin related? If the answer is yes, what about this little gem. It is a Limited edition Machin for Queens Jubilee - 60th Year 1952 - 2012.
Once you have devoured the contents described as "A Delicious Selection of Chocolate, Creams, Plain & Jam Biscuits from Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Biscuit Selection." You can re-use the tin to keep your spare Machin stamps.

I am looking forward to the opportunity of plating them (groan!!)
Ooh, I want one! Where did you find these?
As I was far in Mediterranean France, I find the Cologne's English Shop's website (perhaps available on location in center Köln, Germany).
The tin in picture appears to a price sticker on it at the very top which look's like £4.99.
Does anyone know where this can be brought in the UK?
You can get them here on fleabay if you can afford them!!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MACHIN-McVities-Queen-Elizabeth-ll-Diamond-Jubilee-Biscuit-Limited-Edition-2012-/160779496081?pt=UK_Stamps_BritishStamps&hash=item256f346a91
I see that the one that is shown on this blog has just sold for £53.00 plus postage. Why would someone pay £53.00 when elsewhere on eBay another seller has the same thing as a 'Buy it Now' priced at £10.38 including postage?
Am I missing something here?
One born everyday day
I had a look at other references to these via Google and it would appear that McVities recomended retail price is £5. I guess they might be even less if you could find them at a supermarket, but I couldn't find them on the Sainsburys or Adsa websites.
£53 + postage, who ever payed this must need to get bidding on mashed potato, just to replace the fruit cake in the brain department.
