Machin Stands The Test Of Time

Looking at the set of Royal portrait stamps issued to mark the 60th anniversary of the coronation I could not help but notice the painting of Her Majesty by Richard Stone (1992) on the £1.88 value.

The simularity to the Machin issued all those years ago makes me realise just why the Machin was promoted as A Icon and A Timeless
