Royal Mail Makes Us Smile !

Having just released a customised 6 x 1st class mixed booklet (Alice In Wonderland), Royal Mail are to issue another mixed booklet in a few weeks. Purposely released on April Fools day (April 1st) to make us smile. The booklet is entitled Comedy Greats.

The Machins will carry the same code as the Alice booklet and the two special issue stamps will show three of Britain's great comedians in the form of Norman Wisdom and the very funny comedy due Eric Morcome & Ernie Wise. The special issues will have different perforations when compared to the sheet stamps.
