Back Issues of Linn's Stamp News FREE

This is not specific to Machins, but I thought our readers would like to know about it. After a few false starts, Linn's Stamp News, the largest U.S. stamp publication, is making a solid transition to the online/mobile environment. For a limited time, anyone can get a free subscription to current and recent back issues by going to Linn's main page and clicking on the Free Digital Edition link in the upper right corner. 

Of note, however, is a new offer of three years of back issues, 2011-2013, that are available to anyone. Each issue is a single PDF file. I picked two at random, and each was about 15 megabytes in size. The archive can be accessed here.

Our readers might be especially interested in their monthly column "Great Britain" written by my friend David Alderfer. It can be found in the second issue of each month.
